Autism Tree Project Foundation

Saturday July 12th was the day and we were ready. Tim and Karen had laid a great foundation and all we had to do was follow their lead. As you see in the pictures we had a great time. There is a picture of a little boy that was scared for a minute, but jumped into Ernie's arms and found peace. There is a picture of Ernie and Evan getting into the jumpy. And then the cooking started. Here we go. Ernie and I think we cooked and served about 500-700 Hot Dogs. We enjoyed it so much. That we could feel it all the way down to our leggs and feet. Hahaha We are planning on what we could do to up our game for next year. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord's special spirits. Our hearts were so full that when we talk about the joy that we recived from this day it leaks out of our eyes. Karen,Tim, Todd, and Dayna what an amazing thing you all do. The blessing are truly felt. I know that your hearts too are full. Ernie and I are blessed to be a small part of a wonderful team.

Disneyland

It was June 17th and the new ride is going to open. Ernie and Heather had to be where the action is. So yes we took off a day from work to go. Got to Disneyland at about 7:15AM. Waited in line and rode a few rides before going to California Adventure (they open at 10:00). When we got inside and found out that the line was 4 Hours long we decided to enjoy other parts of the parks and come back another day. So here we go. Hung out with the Queen and the Mad Hatter. Had a great lunch at the Blue Buyou.. Came back to Disneyland on the 29th what a difference. We walked onto the new ride with a wait time of under 35 minutes. The ride name is " Toy Story Midway Mania". It was so fun the first time around I scored 8900 points. I don't remember Ernie's score was he was ahead. Then we rode the Grizzy Rapids. Can I just say: Hint: Do not ride a water ride before you go to lunch and take pictures with the Disney Princesses. Note in the pictures below not a good

Big Bear

Ernie and I thought it would be fun to go to Big Bear Lake. We were not so ready for the snow on the drive up and the cloud we drove through. We stayed in a wonderful Condo (Thanks Carmen). When we arrived it was about noon so food was the plan. We found this place called the Lumber Jack. It looked like a hole in the wall. You know what that means, good food. We had a breakfast dish that was big enough to share. Sourdough pancakes and biscuts and gravey. So good. We took a walk around the village. Shopping, found some fun stuff and then went food shopping for the condo. It was starting to get cold so we went back to the condo and Ernie did his favorite thing NAP. Out to Dinner and more walking around the town. After watching movies and enjoying a fire. And a good nights sleep. Ernie and I went to the Discovery Center, What a cool place and then we decided to walk around the Lake. Burrr cold, But Ernie with camera in hand took pictures. It was the best weekend we had in a long time. We
