Where did summer go?

I can't believe that the summer has ended and I haven't been posting.
So June, We had a wonderful Fathers Day. I learned that sending Chocolate through the mail is not a good idea, but my Dad loved it just the same.  Ernie's garden is in full swing and we are enjoying the fruits of his labor.  Lots of salads and squash.
Aunt Honey had a birthday party and we were able to go for that. Its always a good time when we are with our family. And all my cousins love Ernie. It really nice to have family that loves and respects your spouse. And my family really loves Ernie.
July came along and a long weekend. So we painted one room and worked in the garden some. We went to see fire works with Sid and family. Had the best tuti fruti ice cream.  Got the floor layed out in the front room and by the end of the month we had a new bathroom floor also and both bedrooms painted and trimmed. Now we can have guests again, Saw Bizz perform all over town and at the fair grounds.
In Aug we were so lucky to have my Dad and Ma come to visit. My youngest brother Danny and his girlfriend were in town. For us that means a family dinner and this time I Dad brought green corn tamales and sauce. Can you say yummy.
Ryan brought a girl home to meet everyne. Another family get together. I am happy that in southern Ca we can hang outside and use our patio so often.
I hope to get it fixed up and maybe built  out a little larger.  I don't think we have eaten inside for months. We are enjoying watching the birds every morning and evening.
It was great to see so many friends and family members come through our home. I am thankful that they all feel welcome there.
One night there were so many we had folks in the house we had to use the craft room.  Now we are in Sept. already and I have made a trip to LA to help Kress with her eye surgery. I can see her getting the other one done next month.
Her Dr likes to do surgery on Fridays and follow up on Saturdays.
I am so thankful that I am able to help her out and be there for her. We have been friends for 34 years.  There have been many life changes these past months a few funerals and a few new births.
Ernie and I are so excited for Heather and Jon Teysko and the new blessing of Hannah in their life.
Many changes and loads of love that fill lives with love and joy.
Ernie is enjoying hanging with the young men and it seems the activity girls are learning alot from me. We are blessed with these callings.  Well fall is on the horzion and I am sure that will be many more tales to tell. Stay tuned and I will do my best to keep you posted.  So good bye summer of 2013.
