I looked for forward to fall and it seems like its just flying by.
   Well since I last up dated Ernie has been released from Young Men's President just to be called as the Scout Wolf Leader. He is excited for the no meetings and sleeping in.
   I think he is enjoying the new calling. I am still doing Activity Days.   We are working like crazy and working on getting the house in order.
  We had the opportunity  to attend Weddings and showers and Birthday parties.
  Our weekends are filled with hosting friends and attending events. 
   I attend another Time Out for Women. Had to drive to  Phoenix alone. I don't think I want to do that twice. I am thankful to everyone who chatted with me while I was driving ( yes I use a bluetooth)
  Thanks to Angel for housing me.  I did miss the girls, however I am thankful for the lessons that I learned that weekend. I am so thankful for Cokey who drove up to have lunch with me.
   It was nice to see Sean, Tyler and  Orion. And that crazy Bookem Danno. So it was a full week.
  The garden is done for now, we are looking at planting the winter garden and getting it ready for the next year.
 Ernie has been working on a few cars and helping out where he can. I guess you just can't hide your talents.
It looks like the Holidays will be full of family and fun.  Let's see what the next month have in store.  Check us out next month....

Beck Bunch Homestead

As many of you now know we have bought a new home. We are really going to miss our house on the hill. We didn’t plan this, however life happens and the trust is thinking about selling the houses on hill once Sid passes away. Our sweet Sid is now 95 years old. So as his sunsets and ours is still mid sky, after much prayer. We decided to house hunt. We found this cute little 3 bedroom home in the heart of Lemon Grove. We have always liked Lemon Grove and are happy to return. It is 4 miles east from Beck Hill. It has all that we need a craft room and a guest room. The kitchen is workable and has lots of space and a garage for Ernie. Plus a nice size yard fro his garden and for the Tata to play in. It is close to shopping and the trolley. That is good just in case we want to ride it to Mexico or games or downtown. Lots of parking and a place for Ernie to put the Razorback Hogs at Christmas. Earlier if they are winning. Mountian Fun

It's getting into Nov. And Ernie and took our trip to Oak Glen for apples. This year we took Milaeka with us. She really knows her apples. Even at 5 years old. It was a wonderful trip and yes the apples were great. We even brought home a bushal. Loads of shopping and fun. While we were gone, Katalina and Kimo had come to visit. They have sure grown up. They came back to San Diego to dance. Most of you will remember them coming to the Christmas Eve party and dancing for us. I sure miss the K Kids. It's hard to believe that are now almost all out of high school. Then after Katalina and Kimo flew back to Mo. Ernie and I took off for Big Bear Lake. No phones and lots of rest. The 25 Th anniversary cruise began on Saturday Feb 7 Th . When we arrived on board we went up to the Lido deck to eat. As I was walking across the restaurant , I heard my name and to my surprise there was Shay and Debra. We met them last year on our last cruise. Ernie and I were so surprised and delighted. Also joining us were Bill and Cindy Teysko . They are wonderful and dear friends for the last 20 years. So the begins, Day one dancing and song and fun had just began. Day two Ernie and Bill let Cindy and I sleep in while they walked around the deck of the ship. I did get some time out by the pool and in the sun. Then it was off to Name that tune and Sports Trivia. Country line dancing and the marriage game. We all dressed up for dinner and can I just say Yum. The next day we arrived in Cabo San Lucas, We took the Land and Sea tour; Off on a boat we went to see the arches and lovers beach. To Land's End.
