Summer has Zipped by

Well here it is almost done that is another summer.
Lets see what has been going on, Ryan is no longer dating and just building the photography business.  (1000 words photography By Ryan Orion Beck)  just in case you would like to check it out.   Ernie and I went on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera in April and May. We ended our trip with a few days at Disneyland.  I know we are never growing up.
Then we got ready to attend the family reunion in Santa Barbara.  With Ernie working graveyard shifts its hard to get to places on Saturdays, but we work it.  We drove up early in the morning and hit all kinds of traffic but that is LA.  Got to be with the family and so happy that we make that effort to attend. Loads of laughs and pictures later. And drove back to San Diego.  We stopped to have a little dinner with Dawn, Evan and Heather. Then back to the Freeway, no traffic on the way home.
Then July 4th and the fair was in full swing we attended a concert that took us back to the 70's.
As the summer heated up and our lives got busy once again, we heard that our Uncle Jeddy was in the hospital. So I took off to go and hang with Maya at the hospital. Anytime spend with our family is priceless.
Uncle Jeddy left us and went back through the veil. I am sure that he is with his family that went before him. I am sure that they are celebrating together. I will always remember the love of family that Uncle Jeddy had. He wanted to be where ever we were. He came to ballets and high school  graduations and dinners and just a weekend here or there to the beach.
Sometimes he would come south and off to Mexico we would go.  I remember when he first started to paint and he started with tole painting. then onto oils.  I have always been grateful for that  family talent.  I remember him being my escort to a Green and Gold Ball. And how funny he was when the men all were talking about the father daughter dance being the waltz.  I don't think I will ever forget that dance across the floor to "color my world". He love to eat and when we lived in Hawthorne he made it a point to see both Karen and I every chance he had.
As my life goes on I will always have a spot in my heart for him.  I am happy that he was able to meet Rodney's daughter Melissa and spend some time getting to know her.
As the years fly by.  Well her it is August and we have returned from his Celebration of life.
I am thankful that Maya put together a video if him I love that we will always have his voice and picture of him and then to be so wiling to share his talent and allow us to take paintings that did home.
So thankful.   I am grateful that I am part of this family and that my Dad  had me live my teenage years up and down the California coast that helped me know and grow with my cousins. You all mean so much to me.
I am looking forward to the new chapters that life has in store for me, and my family.  Ryan is busy so is Dante and all the other kids that call Ernie and I Mom and Dad. We love them all as if we gave birth to them.  So I have filled up this blog with my heart, I guess I had to share.  Let's see where we go from here until next time.........
