Jan 2013 and a New Year

Well I would like to say that the year started off with a bang, however not the case Ernie came home from work on New Years Ever not feeling great. So going out for the evening was out.  Had everyone over for the New Years Dinner good food and family fun.
      Then along came the MLK weekend and I came down with a crazy sinus something and stayed in bed for 3 days. I am better now and thankful that it wasn't worse.
      We are getting ready to celebrate all the birthdays in February. Ryan's is first and then Ernie.  Ryan has to work the night of his birthday, but I am sure that we will think of something. Ernie and I are going to visit Utah over our Anniversary and enjoy some cooler weather.
    San Diego has been cooler then normal for us this winter. We are not big fans of cold weather so we choose to visit it rather then live in it.  There is a plan to see Aunt Honey and Uncle Jeddy in February. We have been in the house for a year now and have gotten allot done. I am looking forward to Ernie starting his garden  growing and getting fresh berries and our lemon tree is so full.  That is the news for now. Keep checking back for updates.

Beck Bunch Homestead

As many of you now know we have bought a new home. We are really going to miss our house on the hill. We didn’t plan this, however life happens and the trust is thinking about selling the houses on hill once Sid passes away. Our sweet Sid is now 95 years old. So as his sunsets and ours is still mid sky, after much prayer. We decided to house hunt. We found this cute little 3 bedroom home in the heart of Lemon Grove. We have always liked Lemon Grove and are happy to return. It is 4 miles east from Beck Hill. It has all that we need a craft room and a guest room. The kitchen is workable and has lots of space and a garage for Ernie. Plus a nice size yard fro his garden and for the Tata to play in. It is close to shopping and the trolley. That is good just in case we want to ride it to Mexico or games or downtown. Lots of parking and a place for Ernie to put the Razorback Hogs at Christmas. Earlier if they are winning. Mountian Fun

It's getting into Nov. And Ernie and took our trip to Oak Glen for apples. This year we took Milaeka with us. She really knows her apples. Even at 5 years old. It was a wonderful trip and yes the apples were great. We even brought home a bushal. Loads of shopping and fun. While we were gone, Katalina and Kimo had come to visit. They have sure grown up. They came back to San Diego to dance. Most of you will remember them coming to the Christmas Eve party and dancing for us. I sure miss the K Kids. It's hard to believe that are now almost all out of high school. Then after Katalina and Kimo flew back to Mo. Ernie and I took off for Big Bear Lake. No phones and lots of rest. We did manage to have dinner with Heather and Jon Teysko. What a fun time laughing with them. This was the first time we were able to hang out with them since they got married. The 25 Th anniversary cruise began on Saturday Feb 7 Th . When we arrived on board we went up to the Lido deck to eat. As I was walking across the restaurant , I heard my name and to my surprise there was Shay and Debra. We met them last year on our last cruise. Ernie and I were so surprised and delighted. Also joining us were Bill and Cindy Teysko . They are wonderful and dear friends for the last 20 years. So the begins, Day one dancing and song and fun had just began. Day two Ernie and Bill let Cindy and I sleep in while they walked around the deck of the ship. I did get some time out by the pool and in the sun. Then it was off to Name that tune and Sports Trivia. Country line dancing and the marriage game. We all dressed up for dinner and can I just say Yum. The next day we arrived in Cabo San Lucas, We took the Land and Sea tour; Off on a boat we went to see the arches and lovers beach. To Land's End.
