Birthdays every week

Well we are into February and the birthdays have began. Ryan had one on the fifth. Then Ernie  (& our Brother in law Mark) on the eighth. My dad on the 9th. I picked up Ernie's favorite cake Belgium Chocolate Truffle Cake. He was a happy man. His gift this year, dirt  yes that is true dirt and other plants to help him start his garden. He was thrilled and went right to work planting.
    The next week we headed to Utah to Celebrate Betty's birthday and our Anniversary.
Took a side trip to Bryce Canyon. If you have never been I can tell you it is a bucket list must see. We had a wonderful day enjoying all the sights that God created. Amazing it was 66 degrees and sunny with about 6 inches of snow on the ground.  The red, Orange and pink cliffs of Utah mixed with the green trees and snow was a beautiful sight.
     We spent part of our anniversary with Aunt Honey and Uncle Jeddy. Had a nice breakfast and were able to see Melissa, Josh and Alicia too. That made it so fun. It was great to see Barbara while we were in St George. We also spent some time with the Garcia Clan.
  It is always great to catch up with good friends.  Wonder what is coming our way next.

Beck Bunch Homestead

As many of you now know we have bought a new home. We are really going to miss our house on the hill. We didn’t plan this, however life happens and the trust is thinking about selling the houses on hill once Sid passes away. Our sweet Sid is now 95 years old. So as his sunsets and ours is still mid sky, after much prayer. We decided to house hunt. We found this cute little 3 bedroom home in the heart of Lemon Grove. We have always liked Lemon Grove and are happy to return. It is 4 miles east from Beck Hill. It has all that we need a craft room and a guest room. The kitchen is workable and has lots of space and a garage for Ernie. Plus a nice size yard fro his garden and for the Tata to play in. It is close to shopping and the trolley. That is good just in case we want to ride it to Mexico or games or downtown. Lots of parking and a place for Ernie to put the Razorback Hogs at Christmas. Earlier if they are winning. Mountian Fun

It's getting into Nov. And Ernie and took our trip to Oak Glen for apples. This year we took Milaeka with us. She really knows her apples. Even at 5 years old. It was a wonderful trip and yes the apples were great. We even brought home a bushal. Loads of shopping and fun. While we were gone, Katalina and Kimo had come to visit. They have sure grown up. They came back to San Diego to dance. Most of you will remember them coming to the Christmas Eve party and dancing for us. I sure miss the K Kids. It's hard to believe that are now almost all out of high school. Then after Katalina and Kimo flew back to Mo. Ernie and I took off for Big Bear Lake. No phones and lots of rest. We did manage to have dinner with Heather and Jon Teysko. What a fun time laughing with them. This was the first time we were able to hang out with them since they got married. The 25 Th anniversary cruise began on Saturday Feb 7 Th . When we arrived on board we went up to the Lido deck to eat. As I was walking across the restaurant , I heard my name and to my surprise there was Shay and Debra. We met them last year on our last cruise. Ernie and I were so surprised and delighted. Also joining us were Bill and Cindy Teysko . They are wonderful and dear friends for the last 20 years. So the begins, Day one dancing and song and fun had just began. Day two Ernie and Bill let Cindy and I sleep in while they walked around the deck of the ship. I did get some time out by the pool and in the sun. Then it was off to Name that tune and Sports Trivia. Country line dancing and the marriage game. We all dressed up for dinner and can I just say Yum. The next day we arrived in Cabo San Lucas, We took the Land and Sea tour; Off on a boat we went to see the arches and lovers beach. To Land's End.
